I have never been more impressed with a video game than I am with The Amazing Spider-Man 2 for PlayStation 3! Playing as Peter Parker was such a unique experience, allowing me to fully delve into his dual identity as both citizen and superhero. And the wide cast of villains from both the Spider-Man universe and movie kept me on my toes throughout each boss battle encounter.
The new web arsenal took gameplay to a whole new level. Being able to freeze and blow up items on impact added an exciting element that kept me engaged throughout the entire game. And with an even bigger NYC to explore than previous versions, it truly felt like I was living out my dream of being Spider-Man.
But what really set this game apart for me was the heroism system. As someone who always strives to do good, it was rewarding being able to save citizens and stop crime as Spidey. However, it also added consequences if you didn’t keep up with your heroic duties. It added another layer of realism to an already incredible game.
